All MSA/SRC events and gatherings (including our AGM) have been postponed or cancelled until further notice.
Effective Thursday, March 19 the Resource Centre will be closed to all visitors and to the general public. Phone calls and E-mails will be answered by us during regular operating hours from Monday through Thursday, Noon to 4:00pm.
Please call 250.478.5150 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Volunteers are standing by ready and willing to assist with ongoing services and support!
You may have received from Dr. O’Connor and our Fire Chief, Stephanie Dunlop, information about the Covid Virus. They and BC’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Bonnie Henry, have provided excellent advice for our protection;
• Please stay at home, practice social distancing, wash your hands often and thoroughly with soap and water, and resist touching your face.
• If you have any concerns about your health, or show any signs or symptoms of the coronavirus — dry cough, fever, shortness of breath — please contact your family doctor or call the BC Health Line 811 (Be prepared to be on hold for an hour or so if you call the Health Line.)
A Symptom Self-Assessment Tool is now available here;
- If you or a family member has tested positive for Covid 19, please let our Fire Chief (250 883 4472) know as soon as possible so you and others in the community are provided with appropriate care. All personal information and details will be kept confidential. Our Fire Chief is willing to take your calls at any time if you have any questions or concerns.
We feel fortunate to live in Metchosin surrounded by the support and care of so many. We look forward to seeing you again before too long.
In the meantime keep safe and well.
